Reintroducing KLONG

A long time favourite of ours, we’re happy to have a fresh stock of flower vases and candle holders from Swedish design company Klong.

Äng Vase Series
The idea of Äng is to give each individual flower support to stand by itself. The metal insert structure lets the flowers fall into place to create a versatile and organized flower arrangement.

Pictured above is the Äng Mega Vase in Verdigris Blue

The size is wide and low and looks incredible on a tabletop. The oxidized brass creates a rich deep green/blue texture that contrasts well with flower stems.

The smaller Äng Pond Vase measures only 5 inches across and is a lot more flexible in terms of placement around the home.

Twilight Candle Sconce
Inspired by the photo-multigraph technique, Twilight lets us explore reflections to experience depth as an extra dimension. Made of polished aluminum, it can be placed in a corner or on a flat wall and you can change its function using a candleholder or a flower vase.

A candle light will result in a group of lights bonding together by its reflection. Placing a flower, you will be able to admire its beauty in all different angles. The piece balances between function and sculpture, adapts in a unique way to its surroundings and expands the room into another dimension.

Patina Oil Lamp
This particular Patina oil lamp is a workhorse. It has a generous reservoir for holding oil, and its raw copper knob adjusts the wick to make the flame brighter. These are well loved in Sweden, especially at the summer house.
