Renaud Sauvé New Arrivals

We are so excited to welcome new works from Renaud Sauvé in the shop for the new year! With an academic background in ceramics and philosophy, and a stint as prop master with Cirque du Soleil, Renaud Sauvé started his studio Atelier des Cent-ans in 2010. Based out of Irlande, Quebec, Renaud’s practice includes creating fine ceramics made of porcelain as well as framed works in precious materials such as wasp nest paper and gold leaf. 

The recent arrivals are a collection of porcelain tile works, each depicting beautiful illustrations done by hand. Subjects include a pair of Dragonfly Wings, both an Adult and Baby Duck as well as a Large Full Skeleton Panel. Each tile piece of Renaud’s is finished with a wooden frame in collaboration with Gillert Garcia.

Pictured below is the largest tile work available. The piece depicts a full human skeleton stretched across 170 porcelain tiles. It measures 31.5” x 50” and is priced at $7500. Detail pictured above.

Now Available from Karimoku Case: A-S02 Sofa

The A-S02 Sofa designed by Keiji Ashizawa for Karimoku Case is now available to order! A plinth made of cut-out natural wood supports the sofa, enabling the feeling of sitting on a small pebble. Organic lines and massive volume contribute to the space’s stability.

The single-seater sofa offers a relaxing, enveloped seating experience, while the three-seater sofa, with its spacious seat, offers the functionality of a daybed.
