Materiality Raisin tree wood
A beautifully carved wood tray in its most natural form. These trays were traditionally made by roof-shingle makers in the Village of Wagatani, Ishikawa, Japan. Hence the roof like ridges that adorn the tray.
This particular tray is made from a solid block of Japanese Raison wood known as Kenponashi which is finished with a natural food safe oil.
