Walking through Barcelona in the 60s, the designer Miguel Milá found an opaline globe abandoned in front of a glass factory. She decided to take him in and ended up becoming, over the years, the epicenter of a large family. As its name suggests, Cesta arose in response to the need to embrace that fragile piece.
Freed from its structure, the light-shrouding globe of the Cesta family rises as a recognizable piece by itself, which retains the elegance of a classic with a fully contemporary presence.
