Blaise Cayol's work is intricate and extraordinarily well-crafted. Using locally gathered, naturally grown willow, he perpetuates the tradition of wicker basket hand-weaving that almost disappeared in France since WWII. The beauty of his work is in its utility—it is sculptural, but meant for everyday use.
Due to the hand-made nature of this product, variations in form, colour, and finish are to be expected.
